For the first time, Butler University is among an elite group of 49 “Best Buy” schools according to the 2012 Fiske Guide to Colleges.
The Fiske guide named 24 public and 25 private schools to the list. All of the schools fall into the inexpensive or moderate price category, and most have four- or five-star academics ratings.
“We are pleased that Fiske Guide has recognized Butler as a ‘Best Buy’ school, in particular, because it recognizes both the University’s academic excellence as well as our commitment to providing financial assistance to students,” said Tom Weede, vice president of enrollment management.
