On Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 5:57 a.m., a BUPD officer discovered an unattended car on fire in the parking lot of the TKE house, 715 W. Hampton Drive. The Indianapolis Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, the case is being investigated as a possible arson.
University Police detective Bruce Allee is coordinating the investigation. If anyone has information in regards to this incident they are encouraged to contact him at 317-940-8856.
Students, faculty, and staff are reminded that BUPD offers 24 hour transportation escorts. Additionally, the University Police ask that all suspicious activity be reported by calling 317-940-9999 or 911.
