Butler Speech and Debate Team members Anthony Ranieri and Phillip Tock took second place in the Novice division of the Age of Aquarius Parliamentary Debate Tournament Saturday. Staged at Ball State University, the competition marked Ranieri and Tock’s first college debate tournament.
The team competed Oct. 6 at the University of Cincinnati. Junior Marcus Harvey took sixth place in After Dinner Speaking and freshman Mallory Duncan took sixth place in Persuasive Speaking.
