There are some known issues with meetings in iOS calendars of which IT would like to make all iOS users aware. These include:

  • Meetings disappearing from iOS calendars when they are accepted or created on an iOS device.
  • Recurring meetings which occur on the 31st of the month being lost after the first occurrence.
  • Those with delegates assigned to their calendars seem to experience issues with disappearing or missed meetings more frequently.
  • Attachments in calendar events do not appear on iOS devices due to the minimal amount of data being synced between Microsoft and Apple. This is not a bug, but rather a result of the way data is synced between the two services.

Though there are no guaranteed ways to avoid these issues, IT recommends creating and accepting meeting requests from your mail/calendar client on your computer or using OWA (bumail.butler.edu on the web) as a workaround to minimize the occurrence of these issues.
