The Butler Symphony Orchestra, Butler Chorale, Women’s Chorus, University Choir, and the student concerto winner, violinist Benjamin Abel, will perform together on Saturday, February 20, at 7:30 PM in the Howard L. Schrott Center for the Arts.

Admission is $10 for the public and $5 for students, children up to 18, and seniors 62 and older. They are available for purchase online (schrottcenter.org) as well as in person at the Clowes Memorial Hall Box Office. Admission is free with a Butler ID, but tickets are required.

Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The choirs and orchestra will be performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region and Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Brazilian masterwork Chôros No. 10, the latter featuring staff accompanist and former graduate student in choral conducting Paulo Castro.

Mendelssohn – Fingal’s Cave
Saint-Saëns – Violin Concerto No. 3 (Benjamin Abel, violin)
Vaughan Williams – Toward the Unknown Region
Villa-Lobos – Chôros No. 10 (Dr. Eric Stark, conductor)

Conductors will be Richard Clark (Butler Symphony Orchestra), Eric Stark (Butler Chorale), and John Perkins (Butler Women’s Chorus and University Choir).
