The Butler Symphony Orchestra, Butler Chorale, Women’s Chorus, University Choir, and the student concerto winner, violinist Benjamin Abel, will perform together on Saturday, February 20, at 7:30 PM in the Howard L. Schrott Center for the Arts.

Admission is $10 for the public and $5 for students, children up to 18, and seniors 62 and older. They are available for purchase online ( as well as in person at the Clowes Memorial Hall Box Office. Admission is free with a Butler ID, but tickets are required.

Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The choirs and orchestra will be performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region and Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Brazilian masterwork Chôros No. 10, the latter featuring staff accompanist and former graduate student in choral conducting Paulo Castro.

Saint-Saëns – Violin Concerto No. 3 (Benjamin Abel, violin)
Vaughan Williams – Toward the Unknown Region
Villa-Lobos – Chôros No. 10 (Dr. Eric Stark, conductor)

Conductors will be Richard Clark (Butler Symphony Orchestra), Eric Stark (Butler Chorale), and John Perkins (Butler Women’s Chorus and University Choir).
